In memory of the former Presiding Prelate of the Sixth Episcopal District

A native of Dover, Delaware, Bishop Jackson’s ministry spanned more than five decades, beginning at St. John AME Church in Jersey City, New Jersey. Bishop Jackson was elected and consecrated at the 49th Quadrennial Session of the General Conference in July 2012, held in Nashville, Tennessee. He served our 6th Episcopal District from 2016 through 2024. Wherever he ministered, he touched the lives of the people. He was a servant leader whose legacy will live on. He has been rewarded for his hard labor as shepherd on earth. Rest well good and fatihful servant of God.
